About

Mission

The Mission of the Sevier County Utility District is to provide an economical and reliable source of natural gas to our customers in a manner that is safe and environmentally responsible

Our History

Located in Sevierville, Tennessee, we have been safely delivering natural gas to the communities of Sevier County and part of Blount County since we became an independent non-profit utility with our own charter in 1955.

Since then, our commitment to distributing safe, reliable energy remains unchanged. Today we proudly serve over 15,000 customers and are continually growing.

Our Board

All corporate powers are vested in and exercised by a 3-member Board of Commissioners. Meetings are on the fourth Wednesday of each month at the Sevier County Utility District Main Office, 420 Robert Henderson Road Sevierville. If the meeting has changed, a public notice will be issued. In addition, the Tennessee Public Utility Commission, the Utility Management Review Board, and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission regulate portions of the District’s activities.
