Billing - Payment Options
S·C·U·D offers several payment options for your convenience. The options are as follows:

- Local Banks- Payments are accepted at the following local banks: Citizens National Bank, Mountain National Bank, Sevier County Bank, SmartBank, Home Federal Bank, and Tennessee State Bank
- Bill Pay ONLINE- www.scudgas.org
- Credit Cards: We accept Visa or MasterCard in office
- Bank Draft- allows you to receive your statement each month showing the date and amount that will be drafted from your bank account. You may sign up for Bank Draft in any of the following ways:
- -Call the office and request a sign up form
- -Fill out the reverse side of your monthly invoice and return with a voided check
- -Fill out the Bank Draft form below

- Levelized Billing- The levelized billing program uses an average of your current 12 month's. This program is designed for residential customers with at least 12 months of usage history. The levelized billing program accepts new sign ups any time during the year. Fill out the information below and we will notify you concerning the program.

Natural Gas Price and Rates
Sevier County Utility District purchases natural gas on the open market for resale to customers. Although market prices do fluctuate, Sevier County Utility District purchases natural gas throughout the year to alleviate market price fluctuations. We use the market cost for natural gas for that particular month to calculate our Purchase Gas Adjustment (PGA). This method allows Sevier County Utility District to maintain a reliable supply of natural gas for its customers while keeping costs as low and consistent as possible. The sheets below represent the base rate for each customer class. The complete gas cost charged on each customer's bill every month is a combination of the Base Rate plus the PGA.
